My name is Carol Ann; I live in Northern California, I'm a wife and am a mother of four sons. I am a confessed “book-junkie.” I buy and trade more books than I can possibly read in my lifetime!  However, there is just something wonderful about holding a new book, and the way that it fits so nicely into my (never-ending) TBR pile (*sigh.....*)

Unfortunately, I tend to be the slowest reader on the planet.  Since the boys all have different interests, I am busy running around in every different direction.....So I must beg, borrow and steal every free chance I can to indulge myself.  I mainly read fiction, historical fiction, contemporaries, mysteries, as well as historical romance. I really enjoy Mystery/Suspense, however, I tend to shy away from horror/thriller and sci-fi titles. I view reading as a reality escape and don't wish to take a mental voyage with Stephen King or Dean Koontz, since I really cherish a good nights rest (*wink*.)
